HIGH SPRINGS, Fla. – The family of the man killed at Ginnie Springs on Memorial Day Weekend filed a negligence lawsuit over his murder.
Koty Stewart, a 34-year-old father of two, was shot and killed in a dispute over a parked pickup truck.
The sheriff’s office arrested Fisher Watts, of St. Marys, Georgia, in connection to Stewart’s murder.
The plaintiffs said the park operators failed to provide adequate security and knew or should have known that armed people were on the premises and “that numerous criminal incidents and dangerous activities occurred” at the park.
